Ideology

Ideology for newsletters
Ideology is the ideas behind a media text, the 'secret' agenda of its producers. In sociological terms, ideology is a body of ideas or set of beliefs that underpins a process or institution and leads to social relations. These sets of beliefs are those held by groups within society, and the revalent ones are those held by the ruling/dominant groups.


My Ideology of my newsletter
  • Promote a modern, up to date school- Picture of front office and new technology within the school (new computers or new classrooms)
  • Care for the pupils- Pictures of happy pupils in classrooms and in other activities (sports)
  • Good performance academically- Show the grades of pupils exams, and overall percent of last year and show punctuality of pupils (picture of well dressed pupil)
  • Healthy school- Pictures of the school cafe, and the food and drinks available, or make sure now sweets or fizzy drinks are in the pictures used.
  • News and Events at the school- Mention any up and coming events in the school to show ebery the school offers and it is not only good academically but also in leisure and show the talents of the pupils.
  • Safe and caring environment- Science experiment and safety glasses etc used, teachers helping pupils in class.
